Pico's School

"Great!"

submission: Pico's School

I really enjoyed this one in terms of just being able to shoot things. Mindless shooting...the ninja guy was my favourite baddie, great effects for that battle! However I found Casandra hard to beat, I restarted that part over 5 times. However, I liked the simplicity and overall feel of the game. The sound suited the theme of the game, but I personally didn't like it so I gave it a lower score.

Brain Scrubbers: Ch. 1

"Good, but could be better"

date: January 20, 2007

The puzzle was next to impossible to solve, if not for the author's comments which did help. It might be better to put hints in the game itself, especially for players accessing the game from external sources. I was ok with the no music thing but I was disappointed to find the game so short. Additionally the plot promises much but there isn't really a solid story or reason why we have to go through the puzzle, which once helped with hints, becomes unexciting.

You could develop the concept a little more, and make the puzzles more understandable for idiots like me who might otherwise resort to walkthroughs.

"True!"

This is very true! Bullying is detrimental to people's minds...and the message here is quite well presented, especially the music. Although I didn't quite see that the bullying was bad enough to constitute suicide (i.e. could have shown a lot worse) plus the fact that the "art" vulgarities would have made any teacher send you out of the class...there is a difference between expressing yourself through art and through vulgarities.

However, overall it was a good one.
